This contract, on-site position provides a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced medical practice environment, where you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to our patients.
As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort. This role is essential to our commitment to providing exceptional care and maintaining the highest standards in anesthesiology practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to determine anesthesia plans
- Evaluate patients' medical histories to assess risks and tailor anesthesia approaches
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- Respond to any anesthesia-related emergencies effectively and promptly
- Educate patients and their families on anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
- Stay updated with advancements in anesthesiology practices and protocols
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
- Current and valid CRNA certification
- Previous experience in anesthesiology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Knowledge of current anesthesia techniques and best practices
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call requirement
Shifts available at 5 surgical centers
Daily Voume: 12 cases
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
