This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity for skilled professionals in the medical practice industry to provide high-quality anesthesiology services in a supportive environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthetic levels during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia
- Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery progress
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on best practices and advances in anesthesia technology
Requirements
- Active CRNA certification and state licensure
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
Level I Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
No call requirement
Patient Volume: ~10 per shift
Must be board-certified
