Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide patient care
- Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia processes
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in anesthesia practice
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing and CRNA certification
- Previous experience in anesthesia practice is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Current nursing and anesthesia licensure in the state of practice
Schedule: 10 or 12-hour day shifts
Case Types: General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics
EMR: Epic
3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a trauma center
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
