This contract position is on-site, providing an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our anesthesiology department within the medical practice industry.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia processes and risks
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license and CRNA certification
- Proven experience in administering anesthesia
- Strong knowledge of anesthesiology principles and practices
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 10 or 12-hour day shifts
Case Types: General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics
EMR: Epic
3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a trauma center
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
