This full-time, on-site position provides a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals eager to kickstart their careers in the medical practice industry.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing anesthesia for various surgical procedures. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare providers, contributing to outcomes that align with our commitment to excellence in patient care. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our medical practice while you develop your skills and expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop anesthesia care plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
• Participate in continuous education and training programs
• Assist in the management of post-anesthesia care
• Foster a collaborative and positive environment within the team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Active Nurse Anesthetist certification
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a team
• Proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Previous clinical experience preferred but not required
• Level I trauma facility

Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts

Shift Information: 7:30a-5:30p

Call shifts not required, but available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible 

Variety of cases: bread and butter skillset

Vascular & trauma experience is a plus
