 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care within our thriving medical practice. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in administering anesthesia and ensuring a safe surgical experience for patients.

In this role, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality anesthetic care. Your expertise will help streamline surgical procedures and enhance patient outcomes. Experience in a fast-paced medical environment is essential, as you'll be involved in various specialties within the field of anesthesiology.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Nursing with CRNA certification
  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities

Schedule: 8 or 10-hour day shifts

Case Types: General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics

EMR: Epic

3 years of experience preferred

Must be board-certified
