We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a crucial member of our anesthesiology team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing various procedures. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Document patient assessment findings, anesthesia care provided, and post-anesthesia recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience as a Nurse Anesthetist in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call or weekend shifts
6-7 main ORs, 5-room endo center, 4 ORs at surgical center
Cases: General, robotics, GYN, urology, ENT, health pediatrics, hips & knees, neurology
Must be board-certified
