We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout the perioperative period.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Document patient assessment findings, anesthesia care provided, and post-anesthesia recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Nurse Anesthetist in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.

Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts

No call or weekend shifts

6-7 main ORs, 5-room endo center, 4 ORs at surgical center

Cases: General, robotics, GYN, urology, ENT, health pediatrics, hips & knees, neurology

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
