 This contract position is an on-site role that provides an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of anesthesiology.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients across various surgical settings. Your expertise will not only ensure patient safety but also contribute to the efficiency of surgical operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure patients' safe recovery
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and pain management
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
  • Active CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to adapt to various clinical settings and situations
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care

Flexible Schedule: 3x 12-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts

No call

Cases: General surgery, neonates and pediatrics, vascular, OB, trauma, orthopedic, neuro (heads and spines), thoracic, urology, gynecologic, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics preferred

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
