This on-site, contract position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to deliver high-quality anesthesiology services within a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons and healthcare staff to provide anesthesia care tailored to each patient's needs, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare services in the staffing and recruiting industry.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to determine anesthesia plans
- Evaluate patients preoperatively to assess anesthesia risks
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care and patient responses
- Provide postoperative care and pain management solutions
- Stay current with anesthesiology best practices and guidelines
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia processes
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in anesthesia administration
- Strong knowledge of anesthetic agents and techniques
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to various clinical settings and schedules
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
No call requirement
Cases: Orthopedics and sports medicine
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
