As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
- Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
- Evaluate patients’ medical history and determine anesthesia plans
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and address their concerns
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care and patient responses
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia techniques
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Experience in administering anesthesia in various surgical settings
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and techniques
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Schedule: 7a-3p
No call requirement
5 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 1 urology suite
Cases: Bread and butter, general surgery, urology, ENT, OB, ortho, ophthalmology, pediatric dental
Will handle epidurals for OB
Must be comfortable working independently
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
