As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with anesthesia practices and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing; CRNA certification required
- 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Anesthetist preferred
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Current state licensure and certification in anesthesia required
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Call shifts available
Cases: General, orthopedics, gynecology
Comfortability with OB cases preferred
Must be proficient in blocks
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
