As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective anesthesia plan
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in anesthesia care
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
- Active Nurse Anesthetist license
- Previous experience in an anesthesia role is preferred
- Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
Daily Volume: 4 cases
Cases: Pediatrics, OB, neuro, and endoscopy
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
