We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) . As a vital member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services to patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, including administering anesthesia during surgical procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This position is essential to maintaining high-quality patient care and optimizing surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia plans.
- Ensure patients are informed and prepared for anesthesia administration.
- Manage and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients in the recovery room.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Document patient information and anesthesia care accurately and timely.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience as a Nurse Anesthetist in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and handle emergency situations.
