Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) \. As a crucial member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a vital role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. This position is essential for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during surgeries, labor and delivery, and other medical treatments. The projects you will be involved in include providing anesthesia services in a variety of healthcare settings, collaborating with medical professionals, and ensuring optimal patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
- Manage and maintain anesthesia equipment.
- Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring recovery and managing pain.
- Document patient care and anesthesia administration accurately.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Active CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Experience working as a CRNA in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Beeper Call: 3p-7a, mostly OB
Cases: General, trauma, neonatal, endo, ophthalmology, and OB
Spinals and epidurals are required
Must be able to practice independently
1 OR, 1 endo room
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
