We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) As a crucial member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services to patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working closely with our medical team to ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of individuals undergoing medical procedures while honing your expertise in anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to anesthesia administration.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the administration of anesthesia.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in administering anesthesia in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia principles, practices, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.

Schedule: 7a-3p
Beeper Call Shifts: 3p-7a, every 4th night and 4th weekend
Case Types: General, endo, OB, GYN, orthopedics, and limited acute pain management
Spinals and epidurals required
Team Structure: 4 CRNAs per day
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
