We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) As a vital member of our anesthesiology team, Here you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations with efficiency and composure.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing and medical staff.
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in administering various types of anesthesia.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
No call shifts
Setting: OR and outpatient surgery center
Patient Volume: 10 per day
23 total ORs
Cases: Bread & butter, GI, plastics, orthopedics, gyn
Must be comfortable with high-acuity GI cases
Care team model, medically directed
EMR: Epic
