As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will contribute to various clinical settings, and you will have the chance to make a significant impact on patient care during your assignment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and other medical procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients' recovery
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
  • Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and procedural expectations
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

  • Valid CRNA certification and active state licensure
  • Associate degree in nursing with a specialization in anesthesia
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: 10 per shift

Caseload: 100% GI

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
