As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services across various surgical procedures. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care while adapting to the dynamic needs of our practice. 

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
• Assess patients' medical histories and anesthesia-related needs
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient interactions
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA
• Associate degree in nursing or related field
• Experience in a clinical setting providing anesthesia care
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and patient needs
• Minimum 6-months of coverage

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, offsite call shifts required

Must have trauma & spine experience

Mostly bread & butter cases, no sick pediatrics

Supervision model: 1:4

Paid travel and expenses

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
