Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia techniques
- Provide postoperative care and pain management strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding anesthesia options and risks
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid state medical license in Washington
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably as a locum tenens
- Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent patient management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and clinical environments
