As a Locum MD specializing in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
• Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia techniques
• Provide postoperative care and pain management strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding anesthesia options and risks

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid state medical license in Washington
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably as a locum tenens
• Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications
• Excellent patient management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and clinical environments
