 In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing anesthesia services to patients in need. Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures.
• Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Evaluate patients' medical history to determine the most suitable anesthesia plan.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Manage and treat any complications that may arise during anesthesia administration.
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technologies.
• Document patient information, anesthesia plans, and post-operative outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
• Valid medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule: 7a-3:30p

Call Requirement: Weekdays (7a-4p, every third night) and weekends (24-hour, 1:4 rotation)

3 anesthesia sites

Daily Volume: 14-16 surgical cases

Patient Population: Ages 3-100+

Case Types: General surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ENT, podiatry, ophthalmology, and urology

Procedures: Minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and arterial lines

Will work independently

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
