Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels during surgeries or treatments.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to develop anesthesia care plans.
  • Document patient information and anesthesia procedures accurately.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary medical interventions.
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technologies.
  • Adhere to all medical and ethical standards in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist.
  • Proven experience working in Anesthesiology, preferably in a locum capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced medical environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety.

Schedule: 7a-5p, 4 days per week

No call shifts required

Facility: Main OR, endoscopy suites

Must be able to practice independently

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
