This contract position offers an on-site working mode, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care and engage with a dynamic healthcare team.

As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other specialists to provide optimal care
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health and preventive measures
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulations
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to team-based care approaches

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology preferred
• Associate-level experience in cardiology or related medical field
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Level I Trauma

Schedule: 6:30p-7:30a

16-bed pediatric cardiology ICU

Will see preemie patients as well

Support Staff: APPs

Must be board-certified
