As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostic tests
• Develop treatment plans and manage patient care for cardiovascular conditions
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in patient education and counseling sessions
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology practices and treatments
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in medical records
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and case reviews
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in cardiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on cardiology
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Level I Trauma

Schedule: 6:30p-7:30a

16-bed pediatric cardiology ICU

Will see preemie patients as well

Support Staff: APPs

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
