 This contract position is an on-site role that offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, working closely with patients and healthcare teams to ensure the highest quality of care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular issues
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiology practices
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Cardiology preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs
• Prior experience in a similar role is an asset

Schedule: 8a-5p

Call: 5p-8a and 24-hour weekends

Setting: 16-bed inpatient unit
