 This contract position is an exciting opportunity for medical professionals seeking to contribute to patient care in a hands-on, on-site work environment within the Medical Practice industry.

As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiac care to our diverse patient population. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient health. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations and assessments of patients with cardiac conditions
• Diagnose and treat various cardiovascular diseases
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient management
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and stress tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited institution
• Current medical license to practice in Florida
• Specialization in Cardiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practice

Schedule: 8 or 12-hour weekend shifts

No call required

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 15 patients

Case Types: Bread and butter, no advanced procedures

Support Staff: NP

Must be board-certified
