As a Locum MD specializing in Cardiology, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a network of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of cardiology patients
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocols
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology practices and treatments
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology or eligibility for certification
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Experience in patient management and care coordination
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off
No call requirement
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 12 patients
Duties: Consult service with fellows
Board certification required
