This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

In this role, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced surgeons and contribute to a variety of surgical procedures, enhancing your skills and knowledge in both cardiothoracic and vascular disciplines. Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of experienced surgeons
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care
• Document patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in patient consultations and discussions
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
• Adhere to all safety and quality protocols during surgical operations
• Support the team in research and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Entry-level experience in a clinical or surgical setting
• Strong understanding of cardiothoracic and vascular anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced medical setting

Schedule: 7:45a-4:30p

Call shifts required

Procedures: Pericardiocentesis, endocardial biopsies, intra‑aortic balloon pump placement, PCI and peripheral vascular interventions, and periprocedural management

EMR: CPRS

Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
