We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Dermatology . As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services in the field of dermatology. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
- Perform skin examinations and biopsies to determine the nature of skin disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prescribe medications, creams, and other treatments for dermatological conditions.
- Provide patient education on skincare, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dermatology and incorporate best practices into clinical work.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid MD license.
- Board certification in Dermatology.
- Proven experience working as a Dermatologist in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dermatological conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Cases: Primarily clinical with a small amount of MOHS
MOHS surgery and general dermatology procedures
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board-certified
