As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the overall success of our practice. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. 

Location:

Tampa or Zephyrhills, Florida

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide appropriate patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the operating room

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Previous experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates

Shifts available at two facilities

Patient Census: 10 per day

Multispecialty caseloads

Must be proficient in blocks

Board certification or board eligibility required
