Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support
- Stay informed on advancements in anesthesiology practices
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards of care
- Document patient care accurately in medical records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
- Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology
- Experience as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
- Excellent patient management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Board certification in Anesthesiology is preferred

- Schedule: Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)
- Annual Volume: 3,600 surgical cases
- Case Types: Orthopedic, L&D, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases
- Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech
- Will practice independently
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
