This on-site, contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality anesthetic care within our medical practice.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patients' medical histories
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and address any complications
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and best practices
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in the medical practice

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid state medical license to practice anesthesiology
  • Experience in anesthesiology as an associate level practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

L&D Opportunity Details: 

  • Level III NICU
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 24-hour in-house call
  • Annual Deliveries: ~3k
  • Case Types: High-Risk OB 
  • Will place epidurals
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

Cath/Cardiac Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 7a-5p
  • Cases Per Month: ~300
  • Responsibilities: Perform cardiac testing
  • Procedures Required: TAVR, Blasions
  • TEE certification preferred
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

GI Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Information: 7a-4p or 4p-7a
  • Call shifts available
  • Responsibilities: GI cases, cover IONs/Bronchs, and some Radiology MRIs
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses

Facility Two-

General Opportunity Details:

  • Tramua Level II
  • Schedule: 4-day workweek
  • Shift Information: 7:30a-4p
  • Mainly robotics on hernias and gall bladders
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel and expenses
