In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients effectively
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patient recovery
• Manage any anesthesia-related complications as they arise
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other medical personnel
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with best practices and innovations in anesthesiology

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Current board certification in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Experience in managing diverse patient populations
• Prior experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting is preferred

Schedule: Fridays, 5p–7a; Saturdays and Sundays, 7a–7a

Duties: Independent Cases

Required Procedures: Ortho, labor & delivery, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, minimal vascular cases

Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

BLS & DEA required
