As a Locum Anesthesiologist , you will provide exceptional anesthetic care in various surgical settings, ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and comfort. Collaborating closely with surgeons and nursing staff, you will play an integral role in our commitment to delivering quality healthcare services in the Las Vegas area.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to develop anesthetic plans
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patient medical histories
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technologies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital protocols

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Current state medical license to practice in Nevada
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in anesthetic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
• Must be committed to patient-centered care and quality outcomes
• Experience in a medical practice setting is preferred

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 2+ weeks per month

No call required

Daily Volume: 10 patients
