Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during and after anesthesia
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Assess patients' medical histories and prepare anesthetic plans
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
  • Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and safety
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthetic techniques and technologies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Experience in cardiac anesthesiology preferred
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

No call

Patient Volume: 5 per day

Patient Population: 100% adult

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
