This on-site, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, contributing to high-quality clinical outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
• Develop anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Associate-level experience in anesthesiology, preferably in pediatrics
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Current medical license to practice in Lebanon
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4:30p

No call requirement

Routine pediatric ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries in children of all ages

Must be comfortable with adult cases as well

Supervision Model: 1:2 or 1:3

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
