As a Locum Cardiology physician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our practice
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular issues
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
- Current state medical license
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Level III Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
Duties: General cardiology and STEMI call
Support Staff: APPs on weekday mornings
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
