Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory and quality standards

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Cardiology is preferred
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment
  • Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in cardiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient care and advocacy
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p or 5p

Call: 1:3-4 weeknight rotation and 1 weekend per month

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Daily Volume: 14-16 patients

Will read echocardiograms & ECGs

Ability to perform TEEs and cardioversions is required

Support Staff: APPs & RNs

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
