As a Locum Cardiology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality cardiac care to patients in our community. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and managing various cardiovascular conditions. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and manage cardiac conditions in patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with heart disease
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
• Participate in patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Stay updated on the latest cardiology research and best practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in cardiology as an Associate
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p), 2 weeks per month

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Volume: 25 per day

Nuclear stress tests, cardiac echocardiograms, and cardiac rehab

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
