 This is a contract position that requires on-site work, offering a unique opportunity to provide specialized care and contribute to our patients' health and wellbeing.

In this role, you will be integral to our surgical team, participating in complex procedures and working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

• Perform cardiothoracic surgeries and associated procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
• Maintain detailed patient records and participate in care plans
• Provide expert consultation and guidance to patients and families
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic surgery
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and hospital policies
• Participate in case reviews and contribute to continuing education within the department

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with applicable licensure
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery as an Associate
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of current cardiothoracic surgical techniques and practices
• Commitment to patient care and surgical excellence
• Understanding of medical regulations and ethical considerations

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, specific dates

Setting: Hospital and clinic

Patient Population: Adult and geriatric

Daily Volume: 4–7 clinic patients, 2 admissions, and 2–7 ICU/inpatients

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified

DEA required
