This on-site contract position provides an exciting opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality surgical care to patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing your expertise to perform complex surgeries and contribute to patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiothoracic surgeries and related procedures
• Evaluate and diagnose patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
• Consult with patients and their families about treatment options
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic surgery
• Participate in continuous education and professional development

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Associate level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong surgical skills and knowledge of cardiothoracic procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Active medical license in the state of practice

Flexible schedule

Weekday and weekend call shifts

Case Mix: 75% cardiac, 20% lung/chest, minimal vascular and trauma

Support Staff: Additional MD, NP, and RN

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
