Responsibilities
- Perform cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries in accordance with best practices
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for case discussions
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery
- Stay updated on advancements and technologies in the field of surgery
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Surgery, with fellowship training in Cardiothoracic and/or Vascular Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Wyoming
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in performing relevant procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Experience in patient-centered care and advocacy
