 This contract, on-site position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in critical situations.

As a physician in critical care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in critical conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to devise and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in critical settings
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care options
  • Participate in code blue and other emergency response procedures
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care
  • Strong knowledge of critical care practices and procedures
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure environments
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards

Schedule: 7a-7p 

Call: 7p-7a

Daily Volume: 13-18 patients

Required Procedures: Airway management, central and arterial lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, etc.

Support Staff: APP

Must be board-certified 

Paid travel & expenses
