 This contract position requires an on-site commitment, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

As a Locum Critical Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients in critical condition, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the continuity of care and support the healthcare team in managing complex medical cases effectively.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessments and treatment for critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
  • Conduct procedures as required in a critical care setting
  • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Critical Care
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Experience in critical care medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
  • Knowledge of current critical care protocols and practices

Schedule: 7a-7p

20-bed ICU

Procedures: Vents and ICU procedures

Support Staff: Day and night physician and APP

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
