This contract position is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to provide high-quality anesthetic care in a collaborative medical practice environment.

In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive anesthesiology services that meet the needs of our diverse patient population. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthetic plans
• Assess patients' medical histories and perform pre-anesthetic evaluations
• Manage post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
• Provide emergency care as needed during procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
• Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and risks
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Colorado
• Experience in anesthesiology preferred, but new graduates are welcome
• Strong understanding of anesthetic techniques and pharmacology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 10 per day

Case Types: Orthopedics, blocks required

Board certification required
