As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in providing immediate and effective medical care to patients in emergency situations. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that high-quality treatment is delivered promptly, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients presenting with acute medical conditions in the emergency department
- Stabilize patients and determine necessary interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Provide clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment plans
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality patient care
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Experience in a similar emergency medicine role is preferred

Annual Volume: 20,635 patients
Daily Volume: 57 patients
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
