This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment, delivering critical care to patients in need.

As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing immediate medical attention to patients experiencing urgent health issues. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring high-quality patient care and effective treatment outcomes in our facility. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff for coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
• Stay current with best practices in emergency medicine

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in emergency medicine settings is highly desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Flexible Scheduling: 9 or 12-hour shifts

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
