This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment while working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, handling a diverse range of emergency cases and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of our emergency services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards
  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate medical interventions
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and follow-up care

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan
  • Experience in emergency medicine or related field
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

No call requirement

Level III Trauma

Patient Census: 80 per day

Support Staff: APPs

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
