Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Perform medical evaluations and procedures as required
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management
• Document patient information accurately in medical records
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate care
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs
• Adhere to all medical protocols and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in the state of employment
• Experience in emergency medicine or related field
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule: 8 or 9-hour shifts

Patient Volume: 15-20 per shift

Support Staff: NPs, PAs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
