As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in urgent need. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our emergency services, ensuring that patients receive prompt and appropriate treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose medical conditions
• Administer appropriate treatment and interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Respond to emergency situations and medical crises effectively
• Stay updated on medical best practices and protocols
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in Florida
• Previous experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Flexible Schedule: Day, night, or weekend shifts

Annual Volume: 9,000 patients

11 ER bays, including a fully-equipped trauma bay

Admission Rate: 5%

EMR: Meditech

Dictation: M-Modal

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
