Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the field of gastroenterology
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for gastrointestinal disorders
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interventions as required
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in ongoing professional education and training
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterology
- Provide mentorship to junior medical staff as needed
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in gastroenterology
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Active medical license in the state of Texas
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4p or 8a-4:30p
Call shifts required
Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and OR
Procedures: Colonoscopies (diagnostic, biopsy, bleeding control, polyp removal, EMR) and EGD with biopsy, dilation, bleeding control, or band ligation
EMR: CPRS
Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
